Brad Moody - President
Brad Moody joined Moody Insurance in 1991, and was named President in 2005.  Brad currently oversees all operations for the business, with oversight for the Denver office of Moody Insurance, Moody-Valley (Grand Junction) and the Moody-Smallwood Benefits Operations (Denver Tech Center).

As an active insurance broker, Brad's business specializes in commercial insurance with a concentration in the construction and real estate development industries.  Brad's strength in risk management consulting allows his clients to strengthen their safety environment and reduce losses.  His intimate knowledge of his clients' operations allows him to effectively negotiate favorable terms and conditions, significantly improving their bottom line.

Brad is actively involved with industry associations, including the Colorado Roofers' Association and the Association of General Contractors.  Brad has served on consulting boards for Pinnacol Assurance, CNA and Denver Achievement Academy.  In addition, he has also been involved in leadership programs through Vistage, USF&G and the University of Colorado Leed School "50 for Colorado.

Brad is currently a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and has attended the NASBP School for Surety.  Brad received his B.A. degree in business administration and finance from the University of Kansas.

Troy Moody - Chief Operating Officer
Troy is the Chief Operating Officer for Moody Insurance Agency, and has been with Moody Insurance for over 15 years.  Troy manages the high-tech automation department for Moody Insurance, ensuring the Agency leads with efficient technology to agents can quickly meet customers' needs.  Troy also manages day-to-day Agency operations, as well as client service and sales development.

Troy joined Moody Insurance in 1994, working as a producer for over fifteen years and specializing in construction-related clients.  His expertise focuses on electrical, mechanical and general contractor business.  Troy also targets business life insurance, including Key Man and Buy Sell policies.

An active member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Troy has served as an ABC Ambassador.  Troy is also a member of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), and an Associate Board Member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver

Troy holds the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Property, Casualty, Life and Health Insurance license.  He received a bachelor's degree in business communications from the University of Kansas.  Troy also completed the CNA Sales and Technical Training School and the NASBP William J. Angell Surety School Level II.

Jeff Giltner - Vice President
Jeff joined Moody Insurance in 1997, and is currently an equity owner and Vice President of the Agency.  Jeff is an active producer and handles program design for all commercial lines of insurance.

Jeff specializes in construction-related and property-intensive accounts.  His twenty years in the Colorado insurance marketplace allows him to negotiate the best price and coverage for each of his clients.  He was intimately involved in the creation and program design of the Moody Select Risk Sharing Group, an innovative worker's compensation program exclusive to Moody Insurance Agency.

Jeff is a member of the Associated General Contractors Association, the Construction Finance Management Association, and has earned the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

Before joining Moody Insurance, Jeff had over a decade of experience in the insurance industry.  Jeff worked for three years as a claims adjuster with the Travelers Insurance Company in Phoenix, and for six years in Colorado as a top-performing producer with a regional insurance agency.  Jeff received a bachelor's degree in business from Arizona State University.

Jim Smallwood - President, Employee Benefits
As an employee benefits consultant Jim Smallwood has more than 15 years experience in the insurance and benefits management arena.  Jim servers as the President of Employee Benefits for the Moody Insurance Agency, a Denver-based employee benefits management, consulting and brokerage firm.

Jim has worked very closely with many insurance carriers, including, but not limited to, United Healthcare, Great West Healthcare, Anthem, Aetna, Kaiser Permanante, PacifiCare and Rocky Mountain Health Plans.  Smallwood Financial works with nearly 500 corporate clients and thousands of employees.  Jim also serves as president of Smallwood Select Financial Corporation, a Denver third party administration company.  Smallwood Select works with nearly 100 corporate clients.

A regular speaker on insurance topics, Jim holds the designations of Registered Health underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC).  He has served the Denver Association of Life Underwriters as a member of the board of directors, is a member of the state advisory councils assembled by Kaiser Permanente, Great West Healthcare and United Healthcare, and a past member of the national advisory council of United Healthcare.

Jamie Lummis - Partner/ Insurance and Risk Consultant
Jamie Lummis joined Moody Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1994 establishing the Grand Junction office and is currently an equity owner and partner.  Jamie is an active producer and handles program design for all commercial lines of insurance.

Jamie specializes in construction-related, property-intensive, manufacturing and healthcare related accounts.  His twenty years in the Colorado insurance marketplace allows him to negotiate the best price and coverage for each of his clients and provide excellent risk management advice.  Jamie also specializes in wine and distilling accounts with an extensive list of Colorado based wineries and distilleries.

Jamie is an Associate of Risk Management and Certified Insurance Counselor.  He has served on the boards of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Colorado, the Urban Trails Committee of the City of Grand Junction, President of the Powderhorn Racing Club, and on the local organizing committee for the USA Pro Cycling Challenge 2012 bid.  Jamie enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons in the outdoors skiing, biking, camping.  He has coached youth soccer and hockey.

Before joining Moody Insurance, Jamie was an underwriter for Chubb Insurance in Denver and Baltimore, MD.  Jamie received a bachelor's degree from The Colorado College.
